Judith Gelach to visit Wuerzburg-based low-code provider on January 30, 2020

Simplifier (Wuerzburg) is looking forward to welcoming a very special guest: bavarian digital minister Judith Gerlach will pay a visit. Gerlach will get some information about tje possibilities that low-code platforms offer for a successful digitization.

The Bavarian government has demonstrated that it is more than aware of the importance of digitisation, not least with the “High-Tech Agenda Bayern”, the planned “Bayern” app and, in general, with the first nationwide establishment of a digital ministry. Judith Gerlach has headed this ministry since 2018.

For Ms. Gerlach, who considers her ministry to be a strategic think tank of the federal government, the visit is an opportunity to meet with people who work in this business every day. In this context, it should be interesting for her that female developers also work at Simplifier. With the interdepartmental initiative “BayFiD – Bavaria’s women in digital professions”, that has been launched by her, Gerlach is in fact campaigning for more women to be employed in these professions.

Being a Bavarian software company, Simplifier is fundamentally interested in presenting its own approaches regarding digitization to the Minister Gerlach. As part of this, the low-code platform itself will of course also be presented.

In addition to explanations of Simplifier and a tour, there will of course be a live demonstration. During her visit, Ms. Gerlach wants to get a feeling for the work of the Würzburg-based low-code vendor and the people behind it.

The visit of Judith Gerlach is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2020.
