Würzburg, April 12, 2023 – German low-code provider Simplifier has completed another successful financial year and exceeded the growth forecast for the low-code market for 2022. The company expanded its customer portfolio with major companies and successfully completed its investment round. In addition, Simplifier is expanding its community and further developing its platform with the introduction of a workflow engine for digital process automation.
Overall, the company grew 40 percent faster than the market and acquired major companies such as Mann & Hummel, SAERTEX, Hako, AGRANA, Meggle and EBZ as customers.
“We are very proud of the excellent result for the past financial year. It shows that our strategy is working and that we are increasingly establishing ourselves as the leading low-code provider in the DACH region. We are building on our recipe for success: our technology, our in-depth expertise and the trusting relationship with our customers and partners.”
The Advisory Board’s commitment contributed significantly to the successful expansion of the customer and partner network.
In the recently completed financing round, the company also gained PwC Holdings Germany GmbH and Possehl Digital as new minority shareholders. Together, the aim is to further strengthen Simplifier’s position in the DACH market and expand its role as a leading low-code provider in Europe. Particular attention will be paid to SMEs. As low-code provides significant support in the implementation of digital processes and enables easy integration into the existing infrastructure, SMEs in particular can benefit from the technology.
Active community and strong product development
Simplifier has reached important milestones in the past year and continuously developed its platform. By implementing the workflow engine in the low-code platform, customers can simplify digital process automation.
“Our workflow engine enables digital process automation (DPA) within the Simplifier platform. It enables employees from specialist departments to design, execute and manage complex business processes effortlessly. This makes it easier for our customers to drive process automation and react more quickly to changes.”
By implementing the workflow engine, Simplifier is able to offer its customers much simpler digital process automation.
In order to offer its customers an optimal opportunity for quick and easy digitalization, Simplifier is continuously working on expanding the Marketplace, the digital ecosystem for app templates, connectors and other ready-to-use content.
“We are very proud that our Marketplace offering has been so well received and that the content provided is being actively used. We are working hard to provide further out-of-the-box content and app templates to enable our customers to achieve even faster results when implementing specific use cases.”
Simplifier also plans to integrate further app templates and interfaces to various systems into the Marketplace in the future in order to offer its customers optimal conditions for simple and fast digitization.
Successful together: cooperation as a catalyst
Close cooperation with customers is at the heart of Simplifier. The company focuses on the successful digitalization of its customers’ business processes and relies on continuous and intensive dialogue. One lively format for this exchange is the regular Customer Exchange Day. The company’s aim is to provide each customer with optimal support in the efficient implementation of their individual digitalization goals. To this end, the low-code provider offers its customers tried-and-tested best-practice solutions and supports their implementation.
In addition, the company has further developed the certification program for its implementation partners to ensure that every customer is optimally supported on the path to success. As part of the training courses, the low-code provider passes on its technical expertise, tips and tricks for using the platform and best practices to support its partners.
Growth ambition remains
Simplifier CEO Reza Etemadian underlines the company’s objectives for the coming financial year:
“We want to continue to grow at the level of recent years and take a leading position in Europe. Always with the aim of providing our SME customers in particular with the best possible support for their digitalization initiatives
