Wuerzburg, April 12th, 2023 – German low-code provider Simplifier has completed another successful fiscal year, exceeding the growth forecast for the low-code market in 2022. The company added major companies to its customer portfolio and successfully closed its investment round. Simplifier also expanded its community and further developed its platform with the introduction of a workflow engine for digital process automation. Â
Overall, the company was able to grow 40 percent above the market and win major companies such as Mann & Hummel, SAERTEX, Hako, AGRANA, Meggle and EBZ as customers.Â
“We are immensely proud of the excellent results of the past fiscal year. It shows that our strategy is working and that we are increasingly establishing ourselves as a leading low-code provider in the DACH region. This is based on our formula for success: our technology, our in-depth expertise and the trusting relationship with our customers and partners.”
The Advisory Board’s commitment contributed significantly to the successful expansion of the customer and partner network.  Â
During the recently completed financing round, the company also gained PwC Holdings Germany GmbH and Possehl Digital as new minority shareholders. Together, Simplifier’s positioning in the DACH market is to be further strengthened and its role as a leading low-code provider in Europe expanded. In doing so, special attention will be paid to medium-sized businesses. Since low-code significantly supports the implementation of digital processes and allows for easy integration into the existing infrastructure, medium-sized businesses can benefit from the technology. Â
Active community and strong product development Â
Simplifier has reached important milestones in the past year and has continuously developed its platform. With the implementation of the workflow engine in the low-code platform, customers can simplify digital process automation.
“Our workflow engine enables digital process automation (DPA) within the Simplifier platform. It also enables employees from business departments to effortlessly design, execute and manage complex business processes. This makes it easier for our customers to drive process automation and react faster to changes.”
By implementing the workflow engine, Simplifier can offer its customers much simpler digital process automation.    Â
In order to provide its customers with an optimal way to digitize easily and quickly, Simplifier is continuously working on expanding its Marketplace, the digital ecosystem for app templates, connectors and other out-of-the-box content.Â
“We are very proud that our Marketplace offering is so well received and that the content provided is actively used. We are working hard to provide more out-of-the-box content and app templates to enable our customers to achieve even faster results when implementing specific use cases.”
Simplifier plans to continue integrating more app templates and interfaces to various systems into the Marketplace in the future to provide its customers with optimal conditions for easy and fast digitization. Â
Mutual success: collaboration as a driving force Â
Close cooperation with customers is at the heart of Simplifier. The company focuses on the successful digitization of its customers’ business processes and relies on continuous and intensive dialog. A lively format for this exchange is, for example, the regularly held Customer Exchange Day. The company’s goal is to optimally support each customer in the efficient implementation of their individual digitization goals. To this end, the low-code provider offers its customers tried-and-tested best-practice solutions and supports their implementation.   Â
In addition, the company has further developed the certification program for its implementation partners to ensure that every customer is optimally supported on the path to success. As part of the training sessions, the low-code provider shares its technical know-how, tips and tricks for using the platform, and best practices to support its partners.  Â
Growth ambition remains   Â
Simplifier CEO Reza Etemadian underlines the company’s objective for the coming year:
“We intend to continue growing with the same intensity as in recent years and to take a leading position in Europe. And always with the aim of providing the best possible support particularly for our midmarket customers when it comes to their digitization initiatives.”   Â
Florian Rühl, CSO of Simplifier adds:
“Many companies are faced with the challenge of adapting existing processes and structures to the digital world, while at the same time increasing their efficiency and meeting the needs of their customers. Professional support from low-code platforms like Simplifier can help them navigate the digital transformation journey faster and more efficiently.”
Rühl concludes:
“We see that the low-code platform market is evolving and the requirements and capabilities are becoming more and more differentiated. Simplifier will play a crucial role in this market and we look forward to evolving together with our customers and partners.”
