Wuerzburg, September 15, 2022 – Simplifier is one of the German vendors to be included in the Gartner “Market Guide for Multiexperience Development Platforms”. Simplifier believes the listing not only means that the low-code provider from Wuerzburg is one of the 30 Representative Vendors worldwide in the field of multi-experience development platforms (MXDP), but also confirms the steadily growing awareness and distribution of the platform of the same name.

Gartner is an international research and advisory company. Their Market Guide reports commonly outlines attributes of representative vendors that are providing offerings in the market to give further insight into the market itself. “We consider this inclusion in the Market Guide is yet another important step for us in our growth roadmap, helping us to make our platform more widely known and it validates that our platform easily withstands the comparison with large, international providers. This makes us proud and spurs us on”, explains Florian Rühl, Board Member at Simplifier.

Significance of Multi Experience Development Platforms (MXDP)

According to Gartner, “Software engineering teams often use a variety of disjointed front-end development tools and back-end approaches to develop separate apps for different devices and touchpoints. This siloed approach to app creation is hard to scale and leads to an inconsistent user experience (UX).”* “An MXDP is an opinionated, integrated set of front-end development tools and ‘backend for frontend’ (BFF) capabilities.”*

The report further states, “Multiexperience development platforms (MXDPs) and low-code application platforms platforms (LCAPs) are popular technologies for enterprise application development. Gartner forecasts that the MXDP market will reach $4.7 billion by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 19.5% from 2020 to 2025, while the LCAP market will reach $14.4 billion, with a growth rate of 26.4%.”* MXDP and LCAP (Low-Code Application Platform) thus represent the most significant and promising platform types within the low-code market.

Simplifier equally meets the criteria of both platform types: “The importance of multi-experience development platforms (MXDP) – especially low-code-based ones – can no longer be denied and will continue to grow rapidly in the coming years. We are therefore continuously enhancing our platform – in collaboration with our customers and partners. After all, we not only want to offer a product, but to constantly convince our customers with state-of-the-art technology,” says Christopher Bouveret, CIO at Simplifier. ” We believe that by simplifying the creation and use of software, we are laying the foundation for further technological progress and ultimately for solving the challenges of digitization”, adds Bouveret.

Focus on partnership

For Simplifier, a high priority is the quality of its own platform. That is why the low-code provider focuses on continuous enhancement and improvement of its own product. This involves not only the know-how of the company’s own experts, but also the constant exchange and close cooperation with customers and partners. Through this partnership-based approach, Simplifier already impressed customers such as Rolls-Royce Power System, Viessmann and SAERTEX.

“We felt that the partnership on an equal footing was the key argument for choosing Simplifier. Admittedly, the technical implementation of our use case would also have been successful with one of the other 29 suppliers. However, not only does Simplifier provide us with the necessary technical basis – but also commitment, motivation and hands-on mentality which make the crucial difference,” explains Ingo Tegeder, Head of Global IT&SAP at SAERTEX.
