The Open Day at AZO, organized by All for One, offered a detailed look into the company\u2019s digital transformation strategy and demonstrated how modern IT architecture and specific use cases are implemented in practice. Together with our CEO, Reza Etemadian, and <\/a> Karl Haag<\/a>, we were on site and were able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the app landscape and system structures. <\/p>\n

A transparent view of the digital transformation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

AZO has clearly demonstrated which topics are driving digitization. These include the upcoming big-bang conversion to SAP S\/4HANA, the development of an AI platform, the further advancement of low-code applications, and ensuring a high level of security in accordance with ISO 27001. The event was organized by All for One and featured different perspectives from IT, business units, and management. <\/p>\n

The initial situation was characterized by analog or partially analog workflows, a high level of coordination effort, and a lack of transparency in critical process steps. The goal of digitization is to reduce these bottlenecks and create an integrated, traceable, and scalable system landscape. <\/p>\n

Three use cases from the AZO app world<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The focus of the Open Day was the presentation of specific digital applications used in day-to-day operations. Three of these use cases illustrate particularly clearly how digitization works at AZO. <\/p>\n

Use Case 1: Material and component tracking from packaging to assembly<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Materials and components are recorded digitally and tracked across all relevant steps. The entire process, from goods receipt to assembly, is mapped digitally throughout. Employees receive complete transparency about stocks, processes and status information. <\/p>\n

Use Case 2: Colli formation and delivery process<\/strong><\/h3>\n

AZO digitizes the formation of collis and the subsequent transition to delivery. An app supports the correct allocation of components, visualizes relevant information and documents each processing step. This reduces errors, cuts down on queries and speeds up coordination between logistics and production. <\/p>\n

Use case 3: Digital construction site diary<\/strong><\/h3>\n

AZO uses a digital construction site diary to document progress, material consumption and other activities directly on site. The data is integrated into the system landscape without media discontinuity. This improves data quality, ensures uniform documentation and reduces manual rework. <\/p>\n

Why Simplifier is a central component of the architecture<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The use cases presented illustrated the role that low code plays in AZO’s digital system landscape. Simplifier is the tool for implementing new applications quickly, optimizing existing processes and connecting systems efficiently. <\/p>\n
