Driving forward bold innovations is right at the top of the agenda for this German global player with sites in Europe, America and Asia. <\/p>\n<p>A work flow engine for a low-code-based approval workflow has now been implemented as part of the RISE with SAP managed cloud service. The aim was to replace the paper-based approval process consisting of Excel spreadsheets and MS Access-based applications with a smart digital alternative, &#8230; <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>which can be flexibly integrated into the existing system landscape (SAP R3 + SAP S\/4 Hana, SAP CRM, Microsoft SQL and Samsung devices for mobile working),<\/li>\n<li>with which all requirements (workflows, apps, integration, governance) can be flexibly implemented.<\/li>\n<li>which can significantly reduce the overall time to value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The low-code platform Simplifier is intended to accelerate the development of these and other new applications in addition to the core systems. The medical packaging manufacturer Gerresheimer revised its IT strategy in mid-2023 and aims to optimize around 70 percent of processes in the specialist departments at its 54 sites by 2028. Gerresheimer is currently looking for platforms to achieve this. <b>CIO Zafer Nalbant<\/b> says that they also want to use low-code technologies for this because they are certain that they will not be able to automate every process with the conventional platform. The potential of Simplifier is also currently being evaluated for this purpose. We will continue to report on the progress of the collaboration.
