And why is the standard not enough?
Not easy.
SAP systems are often highly complex and can contain complicated business processes. Adapting these sophisticated processes to simple and intuitive mobile interfaces can be a challenge.
Not for everyone.
Although SAP Fiori offers a number of predefined UI elements, some users may find it difficult to customize Fiori apps to their individual needs without extensive technical knowledge.
Not always.
Conventional SAP Fiori apps only have limited access to the native functions on mobile devices. A lot of potential is lost here, because mobile devices can do far more than display apps on the move.
Not everywhere.
Some Fiori apps rely on real-time data, which limits their functionality when users are offline or have a poor network connection. This becomes a problem when users need to access important information on the move.
Not seamless.
Integration with other SAP modules or third-party systems can pose challenges. Inconsistent integration can lead to data discrepancies and impair the overall user-friendliness of Fiori apps.
Not without practice.
SAP Fiori introduces a new design paradigm. Users who are used to traditional SAP interfaces may have a learning curve to overcome and find it difficult to adapt to the new design principles and navigation patterns.
Not without limits.
Although there are numerous standard Fiori apps, you quickly come up against technical limits when expanding them. Individual requirements can only be implemented through extensive development work. This costs unnecessary time and money.
