Outbound Delivery App

Problem

The available Fiori standard solution was not sufficient for the desired outbound delivery app: The respective fulfillment rate for the stock level should also be shown as a percentage in order to compare the order quantity with the current availability of goods
At the same time, the SAP Clean Core approach was to be followed – the aim was to get by without customizing in SAP and to use the standard interfaces provided in S4 to make data available to the app via oData and SOAP
Everything should be implemented as quickly and therefore as cost-effectively as possible

Solution

The app developed with Simplifier now has exactly the level of customization that the customer wanted: users see an additional, dynamic key figure on the availability of goods that could not be obtained from the SAP system in this way
Thanks to the user-centered, process-oriented, simple way of working, the development process was significantly faster than would have been possible with the Fiori standard
The resulting solution not only offers the retail company more flexibility in the implementation of specific requirements and interface compatibility, but can also be reused for other use cases

Impact

More flexibility on S/4.

With Simplifier, application development in the SAP environment can be effectively accelerated – with full integration capability and without intervention in the SAP core. This creates new freedom in the implementation of LOB requirements and increases the acceptance of the “more than standard” solution in the specialist area.
