EBZ and Simplifier: Partnership for innovation in the SME sector
Innovative strength and the ability to meet the challenges of a constantly changing business world have always characterized German SMEs. The right tools and partners are crucial for this. Quality, expertise and continuous development are essential. The EBZ Group has therefore decided to drive forward its app development with the help of Simplifier.
Starting signal for the collaboration
The starting point for the partnership between EBZ and Simplifier was EBZ’s desire to increase the efficiency of application development in the SAP environment. The search for a suitable low-code platform led to a meeting of representatives from both companies at a CIO day in Ulm. After a successful presentation and intensive discussions, it became clear that Simplifier was the ideal choice for EBZ.

Shared successes and future prospects
The collaboration between EBZ and Simplifier is already impressive after just a few months. A modular supplier portal has been set up in which the production status of special productions is recorded by the supplier via an app and automatically written to SAP. This has simplified collaboration with suppliers and made it more efficient. EBZ’s SAP team is also working on other applications. These include an application that facilitates the exchange of documents with suppliers and replaces a legacy solution.
