SAERTEX GmbH specializes in the development and production of high-tech reinforcement textiles made from glass, carbon, aramid and other high-performance fibres. The company, headquartered in Saerbeck, is one of the leading companies in its field – accordingly, continuous further development of the products and the company itself is a top priority. They found the optimal technology for this in the low-code platform Simplifier. However, the partnership-based collaboration and the agile mindset of the Simplifier team played the most important role in the decision to cooperate.
Compatibility and mobile capability for a hybrid team
The textile specialist’s hybrid team, consisting of front-end and back-end developers, had already gained experience with low-code technology. However, none of the platforms tested were convincing in terms of the mobile capability of the applications created. In addition, the requirements for uncomplicated and complete compatibility with SAP, the SAP Sales Cloud and O365 were not met.
Start of the collaboration
After the successful initial contact, a joint demo call between SAERTEX and Simplifier took place promptly. This already showed that the low-code platform was able to meet the technical requirements to full satisfaction.

Agile mindset as a driver of innovation
The first project currently being implemented at SAERTEX is a loading control application. It is intended to ensure that the various steps in the loading process run smoothly and accordingly has a large number of functions and features that are intended to facilitate documentation on the one hand and traceability and control on the other.

Loading control is the first project in the gradual digitalization of production at SAERTEX. Further applications will digitize paper-based processes, for example, and enable direct data maintenance in SAP.
