For both citizen developers and users with in-depth programming knowledge, integrated app wizards offer the fastest way to develop applications. With the help of intelligent templates, a fully functional application can be created within a very short time. Even without prior knowledge or programming skills, creating applications with the App Wizards is child’s play. In the current version, four simple wizards are available in the application editor. For example, the Login Wizard allows you to create a fully functional login functionality for the application, while the Layout Wizard can be used to configure frequently used layouts.

However, the wizards revised for Simplifier 6.5 offer another major advantage: the digital wizards mean that the interfaces to the system landscapes used by the companies can already be used to their full extent. This allows the new application editor to combine the area for creating user interfaces with the application logic. All data and app elements can be linked directly to the application logic via drag & drop and vice versa. Due to the connectors always being the same, the platform also ensures standardization. The result of merging these previously separate areas: optimized click paths, much more intuitive operation, significantly easier handling of dynamic data and, as a result, massive time savings.

The credo for the new dashboard is also simplicity and accessibility. In addition to a new quick start menu and a system overview, the dashboard provides relevant content from the Simplifier Community and the associated Marketplace. Community content such as forum posts or courses are clearly listed and can be easily accessed. The growing user community helps each other, is networked and in constant communication. Focus remains on mobilizing work processes
In addition to user-friendliness and accessibility, Simplifier 6.5 brings another aspect of app creation even more into focus: the creation of applications for mobile devices. The Simplifier Mobile Client is already the leading solution for using Fiori apps on smart devices. To expand this position, Simplifier 6.5 adds new mobile actions that extend the functionality of the client. In the new version, it is possible to read and write NFC tags. A speech recognition function (speech-to-text) has also been added to the client’s repertoire.
