Problem

  • Several departments are involved in the ordering, delivery and assembly of exhibition furniture
  • Previously, planning was organized on a department-by-department basis using confusing Excel spreadsheets, which led to a high level of coordination between departments and made the process intransparent

  • With Simplifier, the entire ordering and delivery process, assembly planning and communication with the recipient can be managed via one platform without using complex Excel spreadsheets
  • A user-friendly app was built to provide a complete overview of the respective orders and to visualize the assembly tours
  • The data from the existing SAP system was seamlessly integrated into the process, and sources of error were reduced by automatically assigning order numbers, among other things

This makes the entire process more efficient and error-resistant, as all assembly times are already calculated when the order is entered so that an appointment can be automatically sent to the trading partner for coordination.
