Problem

Previously, the supplier portal was developed by external service providers, which led to limited customization options
This approach also led to limited flexibility when implementing new functions or changes
Due to the external dependency, the reaction speed to necessary adjustments was suboptimal
Development costs can increase faster than expected, making it more difficult to meet the project budget

Solution

With Simplifier, a portal for supplier status queries was implemented to make the process of stock queries more efficient and transparent
An SAP RFC was integrated for data exchange with the SAP system
The portal provides a clear overview of the order processes and enables stock confirmations for materials/articles to be made directly
A dashboard provides insights into the current delivery period, including the ability to create financial statements, feedback and forecasts for future deliveries

Impact

The app for efficient supply chains.

The app optimizes the inventory and delivery process by always providing up-to-date data. It provides a central platform for transparent communication and improved collaboration with suppliers. Changes to material orders can be viewed directly and suggestions for ordering packaging materials can be created. This makes planning easier, reduces costs and increases process reliability.
