Problem

  • Previously, the HR process for filling a vacancy required several forms with an approval workflow involving the applicant, the HR manager, the job evaluation committee, the works council and the recruiting department
  • In order to adhere to the process properly, the applicant had to have precise knowledge of the individually defined process including contact persons – fast request management or an up-to-date status query were virtually impossible

Solution

  • The app was developed as a digital framework for any internal applications, including a flexible approval workflow
  • The applicant can now apply digitally to fill the vacancy , initiate the approval process or view the processing status
  • It is clear at all times where the respective application is currently located – there is no need for time-consuming queries or searching

Impact

Replacement of PDF forms with simultaneous process optimization.

The app has significantly simplified the process andincreased transparency for users. The central “contact point” for all applications makes it possible to retrieve worklists digitally and manage the entire workflow in the same tool. This means that everyone involved in the process can immediately see where the process currently stands.
