Problem

  • The previous approval process was paper-based and highly manual, which led to a considerable loss of efficiency
  • Orders were received by e-mail, then the order information had to be checked manually and an order confirmation created in the SAP system
  • This was then printed out, signed by hand by the person responsible, before being scanned and sent to the customer as a PDF by e-mail
  • This time-consuming process led to long processing times and a lack of transparency in tracking the status of orders

Solution

  • With Simplifier, a user-friendly app has been developed that completely replaces and digitizes the previous paper-based process
  • The order confirmations are automatically updated every night from the SAP system; alternatively, manual entries can also be created
  • Thanks to the integrated workflow, employees can always see the current status of the approval process , confirm or withdraw approvals and open important documents from SAP directly in the app
  • Email notifications can also be sent directly from the app
