Launch of the cooperation
The need to optimally solve the challenges often associated with integration processes drew Intershop’s attention to Simplifier. The platform’s capabilities were well known within the company. On this basis, the company decided to examine the possibilities that Simplifier could offer in the area of integration. In particular, the possibility of optimizing this complex process with the help of a low-code platform met with great interest.

This was followed by a trial of Simplifier and a successful proof of value a short time later. During the trial, excellent integration results were achieved using the low-code platform. These positive results led to the decision to implement the Simplifier platform.
In addition, Simplifier convinced with clear framework conditions: The transparently structured licensing model, fixed contact persons and the local proximity, which enables on-site meetings, strengthened Intershop’s decision to cooperate.
Mutual successes and opportunities for the future
Shortly after the start of the collaboration, the Simplifier platform was successfully implemented in the Intershop Integration Hub. The low-code platform thus enables the seamless connection of ERP and CRM systems as well as supplier companies and other system of record sources to Intershop’s commerce system. The Intershop team used the community and in particular the virtual course offering of the low-code provider, to familiarize themselves with the platform and ensure smooth processes.
