IT-Consulting company becomes partner of Simplifier AG and henceforth uses the eponymous low-code technology for the creation of customer-specific solutions. The first project has already been implemented as a fully comprehensive solution family for digital maintenance based on low-code.
The low-code provider Simplifier is pleased about a new strategic partnership: The IT consulting company BTC Business Technology Consulting AG (Oldenburg) has agreed to use Simplifier technology to develop applications quickly and on the basis of standard modules. BTC is one of the leading companies of its kind with 1,800 employees worldwide. There are branches in seven other countries, including the USA and Switzerland. The turnover in 2019 amounted to a total of € 213 million.
To start of the collaboration, BTC is currently developing its maintenance family – from architecture to the implementation of master data management, subsequent servicing and disposition to mobile processing and KPI cockpits
Connectors developed by BTC, which are associated with the maintenance solution, are being provided to the community by BTC. These can be configurated into individual solutions on the integration platform, e.g. for ERP, CRM or IoT systems. Low-code development is based on the existing data model in the company – such as the SAP system. “Thus, one does not have to start from scratch when making specific adjustments to a feature, but rather – figuratively speaking – with 60% or 80% of the desired outcome”, explains Thomas Weimar (Senior Manager Teams at BTC).
Simplifier shares two BTC strong suits: Energy and SAP. Simplifier has in fact programmed a lot of prefrabricated configurable connectors for the energy sector.
“We are very pleased to support BTC in the development of customer-specific apps with our technology as part of our partner program. BTC is now able to react even faster to individual customer requirements, to realize upcoming time-critical requirements in new app ideas or to customize already implemented applications in a fast and simple way, which creates a huge value for both customers and BTC,” says Florian Rühl, Chief Sales Officer at Simplifier. “BTC’s recent maintenance project is just the beginning, and we are sure that many more exciting Simplifier-based solutions will follow. Therefore, we are looking forward to continuing our successful partnership”.
BTC’s commitment to Simplifier and its engagement have demonstrated in a very short time the potential and possibilities of the low-code platform for any technology and integration partner. This example shows us how successful our partner program works with the right partner and we would like to see more partners like BTC to work together with them and to create an equally successful alliance. “Our maxim is: Only with a combination of people, methods and technology can a decisive added value be gained with low-code. This emphasizes the importance of strategic partnerships, because with the right partners next to us we can help many more companies to successfully implement their digitization strategy,” says Erik Hufeld (Head of Marketing at Simplifier). ” Those who would like to follow BTC’s example and become Simplifier partners are cordially invited to get to know us and join our partner program”.
