Application description

The picking app is designed to simplify and streamline the picking process for warehouse employees so they can work more efficiently and effectively. It is fully functional on any mobile device and has a simple and intuitive user interface. In addition, the application can be used on both desktop and handheld devices, allowing users to access the picking process from anywhere in the warehouse.

Each user’s personal area displays the transfer orders assigned to them. The transfer orders contain all relevant data such as (total) weight, items, hazardous materials and more.

Pick lists are available to the employee within the application for processing the assigned order. These list all the items to be picked and their location in the warehouse. Using the scan function, the employee can record the items with a barcode scanner and confirm the pick. If a container is empty, the user can report this directly to the SAP Kanban system via the Kanban scan. This ensures that the warehouse stock is always up to date and that production can continue without interruption.

The Troubleshooting/Help feature allows the user to notify the IT department or a supervisor when support is needed. This feature helps minimize downtime and ensures that problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.

The application is based on SAP’s proven warehouse management technology and adapts to the company’s specific requirements. It is seamlessly integrated with the warehouse management system to ensure a seamless picking process.
